Starting the core skills
Year 2 is the year children learn to read, write and calculate. At École Internationale du Savoir, les Émeraudes, we guide pupils through this decisive stage with structure and care, so that every child experiences the pride of early progress and gains confidence in their abilities.
One day, two languages
Every day includes one half-day in French and one half-day in English. In French, pupils follow the French national curriculum: French, mathematics with the Singapore method, discovery of the world, and moral and civic education. In English, they follow the Cambridge Primary programme in English, Mathematics and Science. Computing, physical education, library time and public speaking complete the week.
Close monitoring in a small class
With a maximum of 15 pupils per class, teachers closely follow each child’s progress in reading and maths, offer prompt support when needed and celebrate every child’s achievements.
