Towards independence and academic maturity
In Year 5, pupils show greater independence, organisation and maturity. At École Internationale du Savoir, les Émeraudes, we help them build solid study skills, research information and develop a deeper understanding of each subject.
A demanding programme in both languages
In French, pupils study French, mathematics, science, history, geography and moral and civic education according to the French national curriculum. In English, they progress in English, Mathematics and Science within the Cambridge Primary programme. Computing and physical education complete their learning.

With a maximum of 15 pupils per class, our learners thrive in a personalised environment where each child’s strengths and needs are recognised and taken into account.
Year 6
Preparing for secondary school
Year 6 is the final year of primary school. At École Internationale du Savoir, les Émeraudes, this year is designed to consolidate learning, build self-confidence and prepare pupils for the demands of secondary school.
A programme that aims for excellence
Pupils deepen their knowledge of French, mathematics, science, history, geography and moral and civic education in the French national curriculum. In English, they complete the Cambridge Primary programme in English, Mathematics and Science, with richer and more complex content. Computing and physical education complete their learning.
Close, caring guidance
As at every level, Year 6 classes have a maximum of 15 pupils, ensuring close follow-up, ongoing assessment and support as they move on to secondary school.
