In Year 5, students begin to show a higher level of autonomy, organization, and intellectual maturity. At École Internationale du Savoir, les Émeraudes, we support learners in developing critical thinking, research skills, and deeper comprehension across subjects. Year 6 marks the final stage of the Cambridge Primary programme. At École Internationale du Savoir, les Émeraudes, this year is designed to consolidate learning, boost confidence, and prepare students for the challenges of secondary education.
2. Enriching the Cambridge Primary curriculum / A curriculum that promotes excellence
The Cambridge curriculum in Year 5 continues to provide strong academic challenges through English, Mathematics, and Science, complemented by Computing, Global Perspectives, Art & Design, Physical Education, and Music. Year 6 students continue their studies in English, Mathematics, and Science with increasing depth and complexity. They also explore Global Perspectives, Computing, Physical Education, Art & Design, and Music through advanced projects and cross-disciplinary themes.
3. Small classes, strong support / Focused guidance in a close academic community
With a maximum of 15 students per class, our Year 5 learners thrive in a personalized environment where each child’s strengths and needs are recognized. As with all our levels, Year 6 classes are limited to 15 students maximum, ensuring close support and ongoing assessment.
