Year 3
Strengthening the foundations
In Year 3, pupils consolidate their core skills: reading becomes more fluent, writing more confident and calculation faster. At École Internationale du Savoir, les Émeraudes, we help them grow in independence and enjoy reading, investigating and understanding.
A balanced bilingual programme
French half-days follow the French national curriculum: reading, language study, mathematics, discovery of the world, and moral and civic education. English half-days follow the Cambridge Primary programme in English, Mathematics and Science. Computing and physical education complete their learning.
Every pupil counts
Our classes are limited to 15 pupils. Teachers can therefore differentiate activities, provide targeted support and encourage each child to progress at their own pace.
Year 4
Deepening knowledge and reasoning
Year 4 completes the stage of core learning. At École Internationale du Savoir, les Émeraudes, pupils deepen their knowledge, learn to justify their answers and develop critical thinking, while becoming better organised.
Two complementary curricula
In French, the national curriculum strengthens language skills, mathematics and understanding of the world, alongside moral and civic education. In English, pupils continue the Cambridge Primary programme in English, Mathematics and Science at a more demanding level. Computing and physical education are also part of the timetable.
A class on a human scale
With a maximum of 15 pupils, every child receives regular attention and constructive feedback that helps them recognise their strengths and overcome difficulties.
